Protec CAPTOP® plastic protective elements and Protec QUICK-FIT® cable glands are manufactured at Protec Plastics® in Germany.
This efficiency speeds up our response time to customer requests and supports the rapid availability of our products to the customer. The production location in Germany saves time-consuming and environmentally harmful procurement transport routes and noticeably protects the environment.
Our raw material procurement strategy for engineering plastics for our production is long-term. Protec's stocks of raw materials are always filled for a minimum period of more than 12 months and long-term supply contracts and production commitments are secured at all times.
Reliability and security of supply have been central parts of our company philosophy at Protec for over 30 years.
EP 210 - Flexible Pull Tab Caps
These Push-Fit Caps provide good tensile strength, toughness and increased flexibility between +1 mm and +2.5 mm in diameter.
They can be used to cap threaded and non-threaded applications and are ideal for use on hydraulic hoses or pipe ends fitted with pressure-sensitive external O-rings. The internal lip ensures a firm and clean fit and prevents ingress of dirt and contaminants.

EP 505 - Flanged Threaded Caps with assembled neoprene rubber
These Threaded End Caps effectively protect external threads on pipes and fittings. They are produced in hard polyethylene and designed with an easy to grip head for ease of hand installation.
Internal neoprene rubber sealing disk to limit fluid leakage. For particularly high demands on tightness, we recommend a factory-made fitting of an internal neoprene rubber sealing disk. We shall be pleased to advise you on your own specific application.
These Threaded End Caps are recommended to cover thread sizes and styles for both the high pressure and the low pressure sides of metric, Whitworth and UNF thread types.
